This Policy explains how Berhiz Technologies handles cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and related requests for its services.
Effective Date: December 6, 2025
1. Purpose
This Policy explains how Berhiz Technologies handles cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and related requests for its services.
It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Service & Engagement Terms, CAC Registration Terms, and any applicable quotation, package, order, or written agreement.
It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Service & Engagement Terms, CAC Registration Terms, and any applicable quotation, package, order, or written agreement.
2. General Principle
Berhiz Technologies aims to handle cancellation and refund requests fairly and transparently.
Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service, the stage at which cancellation occurs, work already performed, third-party or government costs already incurred, and applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove or restrict a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

3. Requesting a Cancellation
A cancellation request should be sent to:
info@berhiztech.com.ng
The request should, where reasonably possible, include the client's name, service or package, transaction or reference number, and the reason for cancellation.
The date on which Berhiz Technologies receives the cancellation request may be relevant when determining the applicable cancellation terms.

4. Services Not Yet Started
Where a service has not started and no substantial work, third-party commitment, government filing, or other non-recoverable cost has been incurred, a refund may generally be considered, subject to the applicable service terms and any reasonable costs permitted by law.
5. Services Already Started
Where work has already started, Berhiz Technologies may consider the work completed, resources committed, time spent, third-party costs, and other relevant circumstances when determining any refund.
A cancellation does not automatically entitle a client to a full refund after substantial work has been performed.
A cancellation does not automatically entitle a client to a full refund after substantial work has been performed.
6. Completed Services
Once a service has been completed, delivered, approved, or made available for the client's use, a refund will generally not be available merely because the client has changed their mind, subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
This does not affect rights relating to services that were not provided as agreed or other remedies that may apply.

7. Third-Party and Government Costs
Where payment has been made to or committed to a third party, government authority, payment provider, specialist, supplier, or other external service in connection with the client's request, such amounts may be non-refundable where the third party or applicable law does not permit recovery.
Where reasonably possible, Berhiz Technologies will distinguish such costs from amounts retained for its own services.

8. CAC Registration Services and Packages
Cancellation and refunds for CAC registration services are also subject to the CAC Registration Terms.
Where a Business Name or Company Registration application has already been initiated, prepared, submitted, processed, queried, corrected, or otherwise progressed, the amount refundable may be affected by work performed, official CAC name reservation or filing fees already committed, and third-party costs.
For inclusive packages, deductions will also be made for any completed custom branding/design assets, printed physical materials, framed certificates, or launch consultations already provided, subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable law.

10. Website and Design Projects
For website design, development, branding, and related creative projects, deposits or payments may cover discovery, planning, design, development, revisions, project allocation, resources, or other work already performed.

15. Berhiz Technologies Cancellation
Berhiz Technologies may cancel or decline to continue a service where reasonably necessary, including because of non-payment, unlawful or fraudulent activity, abusive conduct, security concerns, inability to obtain required information or access, circumstances outside reasonable control, or other legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Where a cancellation is initiated by Berhiz Technologies and the client has paid for services that have not been provided, the applicable refund will be considered in accordance with this Policy, the relevant service terms, and applicable law.

16. Failed or Unsuccessful Transactions
A payment that appears unsuccessful, reversed, abandoned, or incomplete does not create a completed service entitlement.
Where money has nevertheless been debited from the client's account, the client should retain the transaction reference and contact Berhiz Technologies if the payment has not been automatically reversed or otherwise resolved.
Payment processing may also be subject to the policies and processing times of Paystack, Flutterwave, the client's bank, or other relevant financial institutions.
